How to keep your budget sane
- Scope an MVP ruthlessly. Your v1 needs one core loop done excellently — not twelve features done adequately.
- Choose cross-platform by default. Go native only if you have a specific, named reason.
- Demand fixed pricing on scoped work. Hourly billing on a vague scope is a blank check.
- Ask who owns the code. The answer should be an immediate "you do" — anything else is lock-in.
